Trendy Kicks and Floral Dresses

Happy Monday!

Sneakers are very trendy right now and it is bringing back that 90 vibes. I am not much of a sneaker person, but with this pregnancy I am very glad for them.

The entire concept is to look fashionable while wearing sneakers. Here in New York, if you come to think about it, this is something that we been doing for decades. If you have to commute to go to work, you are mostly wearing kicks with your suit or any other clothes. And then switching them up once you get to work.

For those like me, who doesn't have that many pairs of kicks and/or prefer heels, I suggest for you to opt for a pair sneakers that you really like and that you will keep wearing, so they won't stay in the closet. I opted for this belted , studded, high top kicks. And to be honest I really like them!  I put on a boyfriend blazer with a floral print dress (it is not a maternity dress) to add a contrast with my sneakers.

Red and Pink Outfit

Happy Wednesday!

Valentine's Day is around the corner and I decided to to do an outfit inspo about it. I personally love the red and pink combo and gave it a lot of thought on what pieces to wear.

Due to the pregnancy and because I am all about being comfortable, I went for this red dress and pink tights. And I am so glad I did; one, because colorful tights are very trendy right now and two, because they are perfect for color blocking.

Another trendy item that was perfect for this outfit was the small cat eyes sunglasses. I must confess I was a little hesitant to get them. Since I was a little girl, I have been aware of my big eyes (which I love) making this the reason why I also love big shades. But I am very happy that I decided to buy them.

Floral Camo Jacket and Sweater Dress for Spring

Happy Tuesday!

I’m so happy that I can finally start seeing my baby bump in the pictures. I have been wanting to show some looks with it for the longest. And because we had a another week with a nice weather, I went for this Spring look.

Once more, the floral print is going to be very in style this Spring. We will see it in jackets, pants, dresses and tops. I wanted to add to my closet a spring jacket with it, and this camo jacket did it for me. It is light, fun, and most of all so comfortable to wear (because right now I am all about being comfortable with this bump).

In regards of this maxi dress, I am so glad that I have it. This dress is very warm and hugs me in the right places.  Plus, it is one of those dresses that you buy in your regular size and you can keep using it during pregnancy and post pregnancy. A win win for your pocket!!
