Vincent’s 1st Bday

Viancey Peraza - Sailor Theme Party

Happy Friday!

It’s been exactly 2 months since Vincent’s 1st bday and just now I’m sharing the pics (smh). But I have to say, this little sailor had so much fun on his day.

It was tough choosing a theme for his birthday; one, because I’m very picky and two, because for some reason I just wasn’t feeling anything I was seeing or coming to my mind. And this is the reason why, you have to personalize your visions, because the outcome will be amazing and you will have less headaches trying to choose a theme.

Everything I ever saw with the sailor/ nautical theme wasn’t my style. It was always too much red, or too much blue, or too much just blue and white. And then it came to me! I wanted more wood, a more rustic feel. So I started searching my options and I found exactly what I wanted.

Another thing that helps during a theme party is having a event planner. I usually try to do everything myself, but I have learned, with time, that it is good to delegate. You will have more time for yourself. Imagine, I have to change the baby, get my daughter, Aria, ready and myself, plus everything in between. So I knew for this party, I was going to hire an event planner. I’m so lucky and happy that I went with Yos Styles, she understood my vision right away. And went above and beyond to find beautiful, different and right on spot items to decorate. (Always get a person that listens to your requests instead of trying to push/sell you other things).

We all had an amazing time and loved dressing up with the theme. I hope you like the pictures too, and don’t forget to let me know your thoughts.
