Happy New Year!

Hope you all had an amazing holiday with your love ones. Ours was not that crazy but it was fun and we were able to layback at the same time. My kids had fun, we (hubby and I) had fun, so it was a win win situation. Another thing was that I decided to be more present with my little ones during that time, hence why I didn’t post the last two blog that I said I was going to do.
With the New Year everyone is setting their new year’s resolutions, and I, too, am deciding on my new goals. Yes, they involve getting more followers on IG so I can hit that 10k swipe up feature (can’t wait), and setting my YouTube channel but my main one is to have more SELF CARE time.
As a mom and wife, I am always on the run and taking care of others but when it comes to me I am rushing or have no time at all. Even something so simple as brushing your teeth I have to do it in less than 30 seconds. So I decided to start by creating a night time routine just for me. I want to be able to take care of my skin, my hair, read a book or even exercise. And the few times that I have done it I feel great, I feel like my old self.
Also, as time pass by I will add more self care activities during the day. I don’t want to do it all at one because I want to stick to the plan and gradually increase it. And let’s be honest, I have a 7 months old baby and a 5 years old daugter so my schedule is still run by the little one for the most part.
So, I would like to encourage my readers and fellow moms to also try to find time for self care. The healthier our mind and body are, the better we feel. And we will be able to take care of our love ones and tackle our other goals. In the comments, I would like to know in what other goals you have and if your are writing them down or your process to accomplish them.
