My ME Time
/Happy Tuesday!
Hope you all are having a great week and that you are still on track with your resolutions. Talking about resolutions, as mentioned before, my major goal this year is to make sure I work on my self care. And I have to say, I really did good this month .
I would like to start with my self care night routine, I really have been much better with it. I’m still not 100% good at it, but I’m getting there. Maybe I will write a post in the future about this routine, once I have it all down packed.
The other thing I wanted to work on was ME time away from the kids and spending time alone with the husband. For this one we were planing on going away to Miami but it didn’t workout. But that didn’t stopped us, and we decided to go on a little staycation. I am so glad we did this! We were able to relax, sleep (omg I haven’t slept like that in over a year), enjoy our company without interruptions, go on a little date (dinner lol) and really talk about things and future plans in depth.
We booked a room at the 1Hotel in Brooklyn for a day. The place was very nice, with amazing views of the Brooklyn bridge, and it gave us a presence of calmness. We liked the experience so much that we even decided to try to do the staycation once a month. It will give us the a little break and we could explore different hotels in the city.
I would like to know if you were able to have some ME Time this month and what did you do? And maybe I can try those next month too
